Chapitre 5 : L'Hiver
Après plusieurs jours pendant lesquels j'ai pu me rassasier
dehors.
A quoi bon encore
Chapter 5: Winter:
After several days during which I was able to satiate me as much as I wanted the meat of deer, I noticed weather changes. It was colder, the leaves began to fall I had to constantly feed the fire, which was my main activity because I did not need to spend my time hunting and gathering. I also built wards around the Camp. I had not forgotten the wolves who were always around. I had heard screaming several times, but they were far away.
Yesterday I saw a very strange thing. I had gone hunting and get some mushrooms in the forest when, near a bouquet of oaks, I discovered a strange white monolith ancient it seemed. I went around, touched it, trying to figure out what mystery he could conceal. I found nothing and just noticed that it did not include any inscription. I returned somewhat troubled.
And then one
night, the snow began to fall.
What I feared most happened: winter and cold. I thought that in this case, the search
for food would be more than problematic
and my supply of meat
began to stink: it
was rotting. I was
cooking as much as possible but I
had to force myself to eat again. Sometimes
I vomited after having chugged the bad meat .
Finally, it became inedible and I
had to throw it away from the
camp. It could attract
scavengers but they do not pose a danger. He
began to get pretty cold, especially at night.
Every night it snowed. The days were sunny but the temperature was low. The trees had lost their leaves. I had not much to do except prepare myself for the winter.

And then one
morning, I began to feel bad. I
woke up sweating, with migraine
and I was going painfully vomit outside. This is
just if I could
reanimate the fire.
For several days my condition worsened, I can almost just continue to write in my notebook. Fever and cold paralyzes me.

What good still write?
getting worse and worse
this is the end I'm
too ill I will soon
not be able to write I think I'll die here without
knowing where no
strength it is too cold I do not

Hein?

RépondreSupprimer... if you insist ... more, maybe?
SupprimerThe tension is rising! Could the stone be a memorial. The tree by which this stone rests is green and has not shed its leaves. Could it be a source of life and power? I will wait patiently, Sam, until the next thrilling episode!
RépondreSupprimerThanks Jay for your precious comment !
SupprimerIf I say that I don't know exactly what is the megalith ? and for the tree.....
